En 2019 NSM (No Somos Machos) deja de ser un dúo y como parte de esta nueva etapa, Kay decidió que era momento de reescribir las reglas del juego y empezar a producir “The Time Is Now” el primer show de NSM en mucho tiempo.

Nos dice NSM: “The Time Is Now no es un acto en vivo, tampoco es un DJ set, ¡ES UN MASHUP SHOW DE MASHUPS!”

Este concepto marca un antes y un después en la historia de NSM pues si bien se conserva la esencia de crear mezclas y amalgamas improbables contraponiendo géneros para ponerte a bailar como solo él sabe hacerlo, ahora el show lleva la experiencia de los sets de NSM a otro lugar ya que absolutamente todos los tracks seleccionados para el set son intervenidos de alguna u otra manera por Kay. Mashups, remixes y versiones exclusivas a partir de los stems originales de las canciones hechas especialmente para cada presentación, acompañados de luces y visuales y por si fuera poco, un reloj digital que se convierte en un objeto de arte, una referencia intertextual que comenta en vivo sobre lo que suena, una escenografía retro y al final, una metáfora lúdica de la post modernidad.
